Biography
I was born and raised in Auburn, Ala. and have lived in the same neighborhood my entire life. I have also been an Auburn fan my entire life! After graduating high school in 2004, I only applied to Auburn University, because I knew I didn't want to go anywhere else.
I started my college education in the fall of 2004 as a Music Education major. After a year, I realized this was not what I wanted to do even though I wanted to keep music in my life. So I decided to switch to Public Relations, and complete the necessary courses required to have a Music minor.
Other passions of mine include writing and planning events, and I have always been an extraordinarily organized person, so public relations seemed like the best opportunity for me to utilize my natural talents.
I will be interning this summer with the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama and graduating in August 2009. After graduation, I will be able to do so many things. I will have the skills necessary to be the best public relations professional that I can be. It is my dream to work in the country music entertainment industry one day, but I would also love to work in non-profit.
